PPVD2019

With great pleasure we invite you to participate in the 4th European Conference on Neonatal and Paediatric Pulmonary Vascular Disease, that will take place October 10 and 11, 2019 in Groningen, the Netherlands. On October 9 a pre-conference Educational Meeting will be organized by the Association for Pediatric Pulmonary hypertension.

This 2-day conference is dedicated to explore new insights and approaches to the specific challenges we face in pulmonary vascular disease in neonates, children and adolescents. In many infant and childhood disorders, pulmonary vascular disease is an essential component or comorbidity that often greatly impacts the child’s wellbeing and prognosis.

Due to improving cross borders organization and global cooperation in both basic and clinical research, we progressively succeed to translate advancing insights into the clinical care for our patients.

This conference aims to share and discuss current scientific evidence regarding diagnosis, treatment and outcome of neonates, children and adolescents with diseases of the pulmonary circulation.

A broad international faculty will present and discuss up to date recommendations and treatment strategies that are directly clinically applicable. Also, innovative concepts and cutting edge research will be presented and discussed.

The conference aims to be highly interactive, with small-scaled sessions, hands-on workshops, rapid-fire debates, e-voting and interactive, digital poster presentations.
